THE GET READY TO LEARN

HOME SERIES

The Get Ready To Learn Home Series offers FREE daily yoga practices, all available on our Youtube channel, designed for students, teachers, therapists and families who are learning at home during the current school closures.

 

Developed as a partnership between NYC Schools and The Get Ready Project, the series provides a daily mindfulness and yoga movement routine to folks of all ages and abilities, based on the well-known Get Ready To Learn Classroom Program.

 

Focus of the Week

Each week our sequences will focus on an additional practice aspect.

WEEK ONE

GROUNDING

April 13th - April 17th

Postures and sequences to promote feelings of calm connection.

WEEK FIVE

ADAPT

May 11th - May 15th 

Approximate and adapt poses for comfort and to build skill.

WEEK TWO

SELF AWARENESS

April 20th - April 24th

Finding breath awareness, balancing the breath, and deepening the breath.

SEQUENCE THE MOVES

May 18th - May 22nd

Build motor memory and sequencing skills.

April 27th - May 1st

Enhancing attention and control.

Enjoy a variety of mindful relaxation techniques to maximize the outcomes of your practice.
